The Coffee Experience was held in Verona as part of Vinitaly 2014,April 6 to 9, the great coffee tasting stand now in its 6th edition.
Inside Agrifood, an area of the fair dedicated to Italian food excellencea, the Sensory Island organized by the Taster Study Center, includes four tasting hubs dedicated to grappa and spirits, sweet wines, balsamic vinegar and…coffee.
This hub last year was attended by 2,005 visitors who collectively took a beauty of nearly 9,000 tests.
Under the patronage of the International Institute of Coffee Tasters and the National Institute of Italian Espresso, Coffee Experience is confirmed as the world’s largest coffee tasting stand, in terms of the number of references present, the number of tests coded on a card, and the data processing that allows each exhibitor to know not only how much they like their coffee, but also how much it has been toasted.
New for 2014 is the Sensory Island Grand Prix, with the Coffee Award being given to the best-performing coffees.
