The composition of the Orobar blend is 80% Arabica coffees from Central America including Colombia, Guatemala and Brazil, and selected Robusta coffees from Africa and Asia. This special quality blend was awarded in 2014 by the International Institute of Coffee Tasters, at the International Coffee Tasting with the prestigious Gold Medal, won again this year in the second session on September 15 and 16, 2022.
The crema covering the Orobar-prepared espresso is thick and deep in color; in the cup, one likes the hints of chocolate, licorice, and hazelnut that accompany the good body, liquorice and velvety, sweet and full on the palate.
Blend with a fairly lingering dark chocolate aftertaste that invites you to pair with Amaretti di Guarcino or almond puddings with dark sauce. In the evening, in winter, we prepare a hot digestive with espresso, Cuban rum and cinnamon.
